AT 11.07pm last night (December 21) Cumbria fire fighters were alerted to a three vehicle collision on the M6.
A fire engine from Kendal and one from Sedbergh were dispatched between the northbound junction 37 (A684) to junction 38 (A66) after three saloon vehicles had been involved in a crash.
Nobody was trapped and there are no reports of any injuries.
