THE A591at Nab Cottage, Rydal near Ambleside, has reopened after being closed because of flooding.

Cumbria Police say other roads in the county have also re-opened while others are passable with care.

•Market Place, Whitehaven •School Brow, Moresby Parks, Whitehaven •Coach Road, Whitehaven •Elbra Farm Close, Maryport •A591 Thirlmere, Nr Keswick •Road between Great Broughton and Broughton Moor •A5086 is also now clear The following roads continue to be passible with care: •Trumpet Road, Cleator •Road between St Bees and Egremont •5345 St Bees Flood warning for Keswick camp site was put in place yesterday, which remains in place today.

Motorists are still advised to take care when travelling in the county today. Rain fall in areas continues to cause excess surface water. Please reduce your speed and take care when out and about.
