Club to pay tribute to Dylan Sagar

MILNTHORPE Corinthians Football Club will be holding a minute’s silence before their next home game in honour of a teenager who died after a car crash on the A65.

Dylan Sagar, of Holme, was driving a Vauxhall Corsa when it was in collision with a Vauxhall Zafria on the A65 at Millness, near Crooklands, around midnight on December 14.

The 18-year-old was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital but died from his injuries on Friday, December 20.

Scores of tributes from friends and sports clubs were paid to the youngster last week. As well as playing for Sedgwick Cricket Club, the teenager signed for the Corinthians at the beginning of the season.

The next home game is against Walney Island on Saturday at 2pm.
