BOOK REVIEW: More books in the My Little Henry series

MY LITTLE HENRY by Victoria Howarth, £4.99 books three, four and five

Windermere-based Victoria Howarth has produced a further three books in her My Little Henry series about a real-life Border Terrier.

Amusingly illustrated by Mary Lauritzen, the books reveal what the characterful cannine gets up to in its day-to-day life - from chasing birds in the woods and biting holes in his mistresses skirts to an entertaining encounter with a donkey.

In Book Four, Little Henry takes on a special role when he becomes a source of comfort for Ms Howarth after she is laid up with a broken leg.

Each of the My Little Henry books is dedicated to Ms Howarth’s four ‘precious’ grandchildren in Canada.
