Police are appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of a girl who has gone missing from Workington.

Courtney Leigh Ireland, 15, has been missing since 8:45am yesterday morning (February 12). She was last seen at her home address in Workington, and was thought to be about to catch the bus to school – but never arrived at the school.

She is described as 5ft 4” tall, with shoulder length black hair, of slim build, with freckles.

She was last seen wearing a black school fleece with a white shirt, black trousers, and black shoes.

Police are concerned for her welfare and are asking Courtney to get in touch if she sees this appeal to let everyone know she is safe and well.

If anyone has seen a girl matching Courtney’s description police are also asking them to get in touch with any information they may have.
