A YOUNG girl called a Kendal doctor's surgery yesterday (Friday) morning saying her mother had broken her leg.
Police said at 8.30am a girl, who gave her name as Freya and is thought to be around aged 4, phoned Captain French Surgery to say her mother, called Justine, had broken her leg and could not get to the phone.
Two short calls were made to the receptionist though efforts to trace the call, including searching patient records, have so far proved unsuccessful.
Police are urgently appealing for anyone who may know these people to contact them on 101.
