CUMBRIA Tourism has revealed its 12th annual awards deadline.

The organisation says tourism businesses have until March 26 to submit their completed entry forms.

Thirteen award categories include the Sheila Hensman Award for Outstanding Customer Service, Sustainable Tourism Award and Taste Cumbria Award. In addition, there are several sector specific categories for the hospitality sector, including hotels, guest accommodation, holiday parks and pubs.

Up to four finalists will be shortlisted in each category of the competition and those businesses will then be mystery shopped or visited by an independent judge before a judging panel meets to decide on the winners.

The winners will be announced at during an awards ceremony at the Castle Green Hotel, Kendal, on June 17. Visit www.cumbriaawards.co.uk
