ORGANISERS of the Marmalade Festival at Dalemain have implemented a free Park and Ride Service to get around the problem of wet parking fields.
The move will allow the charity event to go ahead this weekend as planned in spite of the recent heavy rain.
The Awards & Festival will be held at Dalemain Mansion & Historic Gardens near Penrith in Cumbria.
The programme includes a marmalade run, food fair, lectures and demonstrations in the private kitchen, more than 1,600 competition marmalades on display and appearances from Paddington Bear.
