A FEMALE walker was airlifted to hospital yesterday (March 9) after slipping down a steep slope off Park Fell in the Yorkshire Dales.
The 41-year-old badly fractured her leg in the descent towards Chapel-le-Dale, North Yorkshire.
Clapham-based Cave Rescue Organisation was called out at 12.40pm and treated the woman before stretchering her down to a landing site to the air ambulance.
