A MAN has been disqualified from driving for 17 months after he was found to be nearly twice over the legal limit.
Adrian Medrek, of Brantfell Road, Windermere, pleaded guilty to the charge on March 12.
Kendal Magistrates’ heard how Medrek had been at a party the night before and was stopped by police on Crag Brow, Windermere, at 8.55am on February 25.
A breathalyser test showed he had 64 microgrammes of alcohol in his system.
The 28-year-old was fined £275 and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £27 in victim surcharge.
