Some of the winners from the Dance Atikk groups at the Lancaster Stage Dance Festival
THREE Dance Atikk groups took part in the week-long Lancaster Stage Dance Festival and came away with trophies and medals.
The Under Atikkers, aged eight to 12, took first place in the junior competition with their ‘feisty and fun’ dance called The Atikk Girls.
In third place were The Baby Atikks with their Music Box dance routine - a twist on the song Doll on a music box from the musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
These two groups then won the trophy for the best junior groups overall.
In the senior section of the competitions The Over Atikkers, aged 12 to 15, took second place with a high energy and fast dance.
Six baby Atikkers, aged four to six, also took to the stage competing against dancers up to the age of 12.
