JEWELLERY has been stolen from a home near Coniston after being broken into.
The house in the Haws Bank area was burgled yesterday afternoon (May 14) and items of jewellery of ‘sentimental value’ were taken.
Cumbria Police have said two men aged between 18 and 30 were seen in the area earlier in the afternoon.
Officers are keen to speak to the men who were wearing grey tracksuit tops and trousers.
Home owners are advised to keep all windows and doors locked and keys hidden from view.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cumbria Police on non-emergency 101 and ask for PC Paul Burke or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
