A WOMAN has been injured after being kicked by a shire horse while working at Chapel Farm Riding Centre, near Millom.
The Great North's Air Ambulance ‘The Pride of Cumbria’ was called at 1.45pm today (May 19).
The woman, in her 40s, was assessed and treated for injuries to both legs by the Aircrew Doctor and Paramedic.

She was then flown to Furness General Hospital with ‘non life-threatening injuries’.
