A MAN in his forties was taken to hospital with a leg injury after being found in the road near Newby Bridge this morning.
However police said there are no suspicious circumstances regarding the incident.
A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at 6:47am this morning following concerns for the welfare of a man who was found in the road confused and injured.
"Police have thoroughly investigated to establish how he has sustained his injuries, and have established that there were no suspicious circumstances involved and no crime had been committed."
