AN Ambleside man was banned from driving for a year and fined £100 after pleading guilty to drink driving.
William Russell, 69, of Roger Ground, was stopped by police on Lake Road and found to have 43 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath at the roadside – the limit is 35 microgrammes.
