THE annual general meeting of the Bay Tourism Association takes place in Lancaster on July 10.

Places are restricted to members only and the day includes guest speakers.

Among those will be Rachael Dyer, the Tourism and Visitor Economy Officer at Lancaster City Council.

She will reveal what is described as an ‘exciting and dynamic branding strategies’ for Morecambe Bay.

Rachel Marsdin, senior tax partner with Moore and Smalley, will also talk on the tax minefield for tourism businesses.

Jenny Wain of the RSPB will also bring people up-to-date with the latest developments in nature tourism marketing around the bay.

The event takes place at Lancaster pub, The Borough.
