A WOMAN has been fined £240 after shoplifting from Sports Direct, Kendal, helped by a pair of pliers.
Stephanie Sharp, 45, of Flodder Hall, Lyth, admitted stealing £93.95 worth of clothing and going equipped for theft when she appeared at South Lakeland Magistrates’ Court.
Sharp was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
An order was also made for the forfeiture of the pliers.
