EXTRA police patrols are to be deployed in Kirkby Lonsdale this weekend following two serious incidents.
The most serious involved a man being assaulted and robbed in the town centre shortly after midnight on Tuesday morning.
Police said a small amount of cash and a cream Dunlop bag were stolen from him.
And last Saturday at 1am police say that three males were assaulted outside the town’s Royal Hotel. The assault left one of the males requiring hospital treatment and resulted in damage to a hotel window.
