Inspector gives nod to 30-pupil nursery plan after SLDC turns it down
12:10pm Wednesday 9th July 2014 in News
A Government-appointed planning inspector has overturned a South Lakeland District Council decision to refuse change of use permission for a detached house at Long Croft, Preston Patrick, to be converted into a children’s nursery, including works to the front garden to form an entrance and parking.
The children’s nursery would have 30 placements and is intended to serve commuters and those living in a wide rural area to the south and east of Kendal.
