Children’s summers are about to roar into life thanks to the RSPCA.

Britain’s oldest and largest animal welfare charity is giving youngsters the chance to become an Animal Champion.

They have outlined several activities for children to do during the school holidays such as having an animal themed sleepover, planting a butterfly garden or designing artwork for an RSPCA van.

Any child aged six to 12 can take part, entry is free and all participants will receive a toolkit with 18 different animal themed activities, stickers, posters and much more.

Children who complete all the activities outlined in the entry pack before the end of the summer holidays will receive a special award and certificate from the RSPCA.
