A WOMAN slipped and fractured her upper arm while out fell walking in the Lake District yesterday (July 18).
Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team was called out at 7.30pm to the walker who had fallen at Kirkstone Rod, Ambleside.
Having sustained a fractured humerus – the bone that runs between the shoulder and elbow – she was treated by paramedics and evacuated by a stretcher.
The two hour rescue involved 15 team members.
There was no more information at this time.
