TWO lucky youngsters have scooped fantastic prizes by winning The Westmorlnad Gazette’s ‘Design a Football Shirt’ competition.
Millie Stewart, aged five, of Levens, won the aged four-seven category and will receive a five-day Chewits sports course, tickets for six people to Gulliver’s Theme Park and a family ticket to the World of Beatrix Potter.
Winner of the eight-11 years category was Cameron Harrison, eight, of Appleby, who wins a five-day Chewits sports course, ‘Family Freedom of the Lake’ tickets for two adults and up to three chiildren and a family ticket to the World of Beatrix Potter.
Millie and Cameron will also see their winning designs printed on a T-shirt, courtesy of Inkrowd.
The runners-up were Ruby Geldard, aged four, of Levens, and Calum Morgan, ten, of Kendal.
Hundreds of entries were received for the competition, which co-incided with the World Cup, and readers voted for their favourite designs.
