THIS year’s Kendal Calling festival raised £56,155 for charities – more than twice as much as last year’s total of £20,000.
The charities to benefit are Alder Hey Children’s Charity, Guide Dogs UK, Hospice At Home (Carlisle and North Lakeland), North West Air Ambulance, Oxfam, Penrith Lions, David Lynch Foundation and Save the Children Gaza Appeal.
