A FEMALE walker was rescued after having a fit on a hillside in Martindale, near Ullswater.
The North West Ambulance Service and Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team went to the 46-year-old’s aid.
The Great North Air Ambulance also flew to the scene.

The casualty was treated on the fell and then taken to hospital by land ambulance.
