THE world’s last two airworthy Lancaster Bombers are to take part in a fly-past over Windermere on Sunday afternoon.
The event at Brockhole is inspired by Britain’s last surviving Bomber Command veteran, Archie Johnstone, of Grange-over-Sands, who died in April.
The Lancasters are expected to arrive at 2.50pm – but check on www.brockhole.co.uk/ lancasterbomber.
