Settle singer John Newman nominated for award
CHART-topping Settle singer John Newman has been nominated for ‘Best Push’ at this year’s MTV EMA Awards.
The category honours acts who have gone from relatively unknown to widely known through hard work and good promotion.
The ‘Love Me Again’ singer will be up against 10 other artists for the award, including Lorde and Sam Smith.
The awards show will be held in Glasgow on November 9.
The news tops off a year of prestigious nominations for the Dales star, including nods from the Brits and Ivor Novello awards.
