THE Rosemere Cancer Foundation has secured a donation of £4,500 from teams participating in the 48th annual Keswick to Barrow (K2B) or shorter Coniston to Barrow (C2B) charity walks. Rosemere will use the money to support cancer patients undergoing treatment at hospitals in South Lakeland and Lancashire. Cathy Skidmore, Rosemere’s area fundraising co-ordinator for Morecambe Bay and South Cumbria said: “We are extremely grateful to be included among the charities chosen by the walk committee to receive an award."
