Police seeking witnesses as victim left 'highly distressed' by attempted Arnside arson
WITNESSES are being sought over criminal damage and attempted arson to a car on Station Road, Arnside.
The incident occurred on December 8 and police are this weekend urging anybody with information to come forward.
They say a window was smashed before the petrol cap was forced in what police say was 'an attempt to set fire to the vehicle'.
"The victim is highly distressed by the actions of the offender," said a spokesman for Cumbria police.
Anybody with information is asked to contact officers on 101.
