A YORKSHIRE terrier dog was attacked by another dog near a south Cumbria beauty spot.
Police said the terrier was left with puncture wounds to its shoulder and face after being set upon by a pit-bull type dog at Bardsea, near Ulverston.
The incident happened at around 11.30am on November 25.
The owner of the dog is described as a white male around 5ft 6".
He was wearing glasses, a large rimmed hat and a green waterproof jacket.
