Kendal group heads to twin town Rinteln
A GROUP of people from Kendal will be travelling to Germany this summer to mark the 25th anniversary of town twinning between Kendal and Rinteln.
They will attend the annual “Altstadtfest” – Old Town Festival - over the weekend August 11 and 13.
Stages are set up in the town centre and a variety of activities will take place with entertainment available for all ages.
Local bands and choirs will be playing and singing traditional German music, rock, country and jazz. Stalls will be selling local food and beers.
