THE man involved in the A66 collision on Tuesday (December 19) has died.
The 92-year-old Cockermouth man was driving a Subaru Impreza which collided with a Volvo HGV on the A66 near to Threlkeld at around 2.15pm.
He was taken by the Great North Air Ambulance to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, where he died this morning (December 22).
Police are still appealing for information about the collision. Any witnesses are asked to contact PC691 Ormerod of the Mobile Support Group at Carlisle on 101.
