SIXTY-four flats and eight bungalows for retired people are planned for the former primary school site at High Bentham.
Concerns about the provision of only 39 parking spaces were raised at Bentham Town Council's December meeting.
However, councillors voted against objecting to the plans for the Robin Lane site by charitable trust ExtraCare, based near Coventry.
The final decision rests with Craven District Council. If approved, building will start this summer, with completion in early 2019.
