MITCHELL On 7th June 2013, BETTY MITCHELL, aged 96 years, (formerly of Burnage, Manchester) passed away peacefully at The Abbey Care Home, Staveley. Beloved mother of David, Peter and the late Anne and a loving Mother in Law, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. With sincere thanks to all the Abbey staff for their kindness and care during Betty’s long stay (9 years) at the Abbey Care Home. Funeral service to be held at St. James’ Church, Staveley on Monday 14th June at 3pm followed by cremation at Lancaster Crematorium. Donations, if so desired to The Abbey Care Home Amenities fund.
