BARBER JOHN NEWBY "TOWERS" August 9th peacefully at Cartmel Grange Nursing Home, aged 89 years of Grange-o-Sands. Loving husband of the late Irene, dear father of Susan and Mike & father-in-law of Graham and Jill. A much loved Grandad to David, Jon, Dave, Stewart, Cara and a great grandad of Lucy and Alicia. Funeral Service at St. Pauls Church, Grange on Tuesday 26th August at 11.30am followed by cremation at Thorncliffe Crematorium, Barrow at 1pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to St. Mary's Hospice, Ulverston which may be left on the offertory plate at Church or Sent to Saunders & Son Ltd. West Winds, Allithwaite Road, Grange-o-Sands.
