GORTON Assheton, died peacefully on 14th September 2014, aged 84. Much loved husband of Catherine, father to Steve, Barny and Sophie, grandfather to Kashi, Emily, Shanti, Jemma, Leila, Phoebe and Imogen, brother of Stephen Gorton and Quenilda Woodhouse, brother-in-law of Michael Woodhouse. Memorial service at the Church of St. Patrick, Patterdale, Cumbria will be announced later.
