METCALFE Peacefully on Tuesday 18th August at Barrock Court Care Home Carlisle, JAMES EDGAR of Frankland Park Orton formerly of Ellergill Gaisgill. Dearly loved husband of the late Frances. Dear brother of Jeff. He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends aged 88 years. Funeral service and interment at All Saints Church Orton on Friday 28th August 12noon. Family flowers only are requested. Donations if desired will be divided between Upper Eden Medical Fund and Barrock Court Care Home c/o Glyn Jones, Funeral Directors, 12 Battlebarrow, Appleby, Cumbria CA16 6XS.
