HEPWORTH On 24th September 2015 at Kendal Care Home, after a short illness, John MAURICE, aged 81 years. Latterly of Rathmell, Settle, previously of Low Scathwaite, Ulverston. Much loved husband of the late Thelma, father to Karen, Simon, Sally and Robin, grandfather to Jenny, Beth, Mike, Stephen, Becky, Mark, Nick and Will; great-grandfather to Nena. Funeral service St Mark’s Church, Natland, 5 October 11.45am, followed by cremation at Lancaster. Donations in lieu of flowers to BBC Children in Need, c/o Fishwicks Ltd, Beetham Hall, Beetham, Miln-thorpe, LA7 7BQ. The family wish to thank the wonderful staff at Kendal Care Home for the exceptional and loving care given to both Maurice and Thelma in their last illnesses.
