ROBINSON Maureen passed away peacefully at home on 27th April 2016 with her husband by her side after losing her battle with ovarian cancer, devoted and much loved wife of Jim, beloved mother of Susan and Wendy, mother in law of David and Trevor, treasured grandma of Rebecca, Lee and Danielle, adopted mum to Margaret and adoring great grandma to Oscar - the light of her life who gave her such strength and happiness in her final few months. Cremation is to take place on Friday 6th May at 10.15am at Lancaster and Morecambe Crematorium to be followed by ' thanks giving of life ' service at Preston Patrick Church Crooklands at 11.30am. Please join us to honour Maureen's life, her final wish was "for everyone to wear bright colours - purple was her favourite - but to be comfortable in your choice of clothing". After the service the family invite you to join them for refreshments at Crooklands Hotel to continue celebrating Maureen's life and share happy memories.
