READ David Saville Read passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on the 6th of January, aged 80 years, after a short illness. Much loved husband of June, loving father of Simon, Joanne, Kingsley and Andrew, dear granddad to each of his grandchildren, and much loved brother of Judy. Proprietor of Clare House Hotel, Grange over Sands, for nearly 50 years. A service of thanksgiving, celebrating the life of David, will take place at St Paul’s Church, Grange-over-Sands on Friday 20th January at 12:00 noon. Family flowers only please but donations, if so desired, will be given to St Mary’s Hospice and may be left at the Church or sent to Alan Postlethwaite, Funeral Director, Main Street, Grange Over Sands, LA11 6DP.
