GEOFFREY HOWORTH DIXON On Monday 14 August died peacefully in the care of Cartmel Grange Nursing Home, Grange-over-Sands, GEOFFREY retired farmer, after a long illness. Elder son of the late John and Dorothy Dixon of Borwicks, Aynsome, Cartmel, a dear brother to Jennifer, Judith and Tony and uncle to nine nephews and nieces. The Thanksgiving Service will take place at Beetham Hall Crematorium, LA7 7BQ on Wednesday 30 August at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please but donations if desired may be sent for the Alzheimer's Research UK C/O A G Clarke, The Ashes, Cartmel Fell, Grange over Sands. LA11 6NU Tel: 015395 31481 .
