EDWARD "TED" DEWHURST. On 12th September, peacefully at St Wilfreds Care Home, Halton aged 95 years. His family and friends would like to thank all the staff for their loving care. Ted formerly of Blackburn and Silverdale will be sadly missed by his family, friends and former pupils of Preston Grammar School. His funeral service and committal will take place on Monday the 2nd October, 3.30 at Beetham Hall Crematorium. No flowers please. Donations in his memory for St Johns Hospice, Lancaster and Cancer Research UK, if desired, may be sent to Fishwicks Funeral Services Ltd, Beetham Hall, Beetham. LA7 7BQ
