JEFFREY DAVID BATESON Jeff passed away peacefully on 7th November at home after a long illness, aged 85 years. Beloved Husband of Dorothy, much loved Father of David and the late Philip, dear Father-in-Law of Maureen, Brother to George and the late Harold, loving Grandfather and Uncle, and a good friend to many. For 25 years a respected and well-liked Headteacher at Coniston Primary School. Special thanks for their care to Dr Andrew Wilson, Dalton District Nurses, the staff of St Mary's Hospice at Home, and Coniston Carers. The funeral service is to be held at Thorncliffe Crematorium on Monday 20th November at 1.45pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to be shared between St Mary's Hospice at Home and Coniston Mountain Rescue, may be left at the service or sent c/o Little & Caine, 48 Ulverston Road, Dalton-in-Furness.
