CHRISTOPHER JOHN METCALFE Son of the late John and Mary Gwendoline, brother to the late Ann. Chris aged 72 years, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 10th of February, after bravely battling cancer. He was surrounded by his beloved wife Sandra and his 5 children Paul, Sarah, Daniel, Kim and Samantha. A much loved husband, father, uncle, son in law, father in law, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. His funeral service will be held at Beetham Hall on Tuesday the 27th of February at 12:30pm. Please wear football shirts or something bright. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Chris will be shared between Rosemere and St Johns Hospice. A memorial party in memory of Chris will be held at Windermere Social Club for anyone who wishes to join the family following the funeral service.
