KENNETH SCOWCROFT On 7th April 2018, at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Ken aged 89 years of Storrs Park. A very dearly loved husband, father, grandad and great-grandad. Sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Huggett Ward at the RLI for all their devoted care and attention of Ken. The funeral service will take place at St. Martin's Church, Bowness on Windermere on Friday 20th April at 2.pm. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Teenage Cancer Care (Cumbria) c/o Edmondson Longmire Funeral Service, Beetham Hall, Beetham, LA7 7BQ. Tel 015395 63108.

Very saddened to read of Ken’s passing. He had an amazing life though. My parents Brian & Dorothy Cockroft met Ken & Joyce on a cruise and recounted many happy and amusing anecdotes about their shared times. They can share a glass of wine and a game of scrabble with Ken again....wonder if he will play by the rules now? I hope not!
