  • Beat bobby Alfie Moore takes his stand-up comedy to Kendal's Brewery Arts Centre

    BEAT bobby Alfie Moore has taken time out as a serving policeman to the stage his acclaimed stand-up comedy routine, which sees him recalling the colourful characters and side-splitting stories from his 18 years as a neighbourhood officer in Yorkshire. Alfie - who has twice written and performed his own one-man show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and supported Sarah Millican, Russell Kane and Milton Jones - plays Kendal’s Brewery Arts Centre on Saturday (April 14, 8pm) as part of his UK tour, relating some of the funniest moment of his career. read more
