A KENDAL-based letting agency has received national acclaim.
Carter Jonas won the silver award for the best medium sized national lettings agency at the Estate and Lettings Agents Awards.
The award, presented by TV property expert Phil Spencer in London, was judged solely on the volume of positive feedback from customers.
The letting agents were helped by the volume of spectacular properties in South Lakeland, such as Derwent Island House.
Sally Longden, of Carter Jonas, said: “It’s fantastic to know that we’ve won this on the basis of feedback from our clients. It’s a good test of the service we provide at a time when the lettings market is very active.
“Our experience in Kendal is that there are plenty of people wanting to rent and not enough properties to go around.”
