A SEDBERGH chartered accountant is returning to full-time practice in her home town.
For the past five years, Rosemary Lewes has been working with Lamont Pridmore in Kendal, combining her job with the small practice she set up in 1998 in the Yorkshire Dales.
Mrs Lewes trained with one of the big four international practices in Birmingham before raising a family in Cumbria. She has worked for an accountancy practice in Barrow and has taught at Kendal College and Lancaster University.
She said: “Over the past few years I’ve gained a breadth of knowledge and experience advising individuals with more complex tax affairs and dealing with HMRC.
“I’ve also provided general accountancy services and tax advice to self-employed people and small companies.
“I can also help people set up small businesses, with services such as advising on accountancy software, business planning and helping them through the bureaucratic maze.”
