A NEW networking facility for businesses in LA22 is taking place every third Thursday at The Salutation at Ambelside and meets next on November 20 (5.45pm).
The group is named LA22.NET, and its aim is to get local business people together to meet and exchange ideas and information. It will also arrange business-orientated presentations from organisations such as LDNPA, BT Broadband, utility providers, computing businesses and travel and transport firms and other professional services.
About eight to ten meetings a year are planned, each starting with a buffet or alternative hot dish and ending by 7.30pm.
Although the Rotary Club of Ambleside has organised the new group, LA22.NET is not a Rotary meeting and there is no obligation to join Rotary.
