THE current managing director of Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire is to take on a new role within the company.
Nigel Winter, 51,is to succeed retiring John Gould as managing director at Stagecoach in South Wales from September 1.
Stagecoach in Wales employs more than 800 people across seven depots and runs more than 360 buses, carrying around 27 million passengers a year.
Mr Winter has been managing director of Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire since 2011, with responsibility for depots in Kendal, Barrow, Penrith, Morecambe, Penrith and West Cumbria.
