INDEPENDENT retailers are being invited to a free hands-on workshop in the art of window dressing.
SLDC’s Invest in South Lakeland team is hosting two makeover masterclasses at Kendal Town Hall on Thursday June 18.
The sessions will be run by Helen Goodwin from visual display trainers ‘Made You Look!’.
The masterclass will cover the science of window dressing, simple steps to turn passers-by into buyers and the secrets to making a town centre shop busy.

Cllr Giles Archibald, SLDC portfolio holder for economic growth, town centres and small business, said: “This event is a great opportunity for retailers to learn a few tricks to transform their shop windows and helps the council engage with businesses."
The workshops are being held at 9am and 1pm and will last three hours.
